It is believed that Qur’an is a timeless guide for life,and hereafter. Hence, Qur’an reading is one of the noblest activities of Crescent School which is taught to the Muslim students with great reverence and dedication. For the Muslim students five time prayers and daily Quran reading are compulsory. A basic Islamiyat Course is conducted for the new comers to pursue on Islamic values such as methods of doing ablution, Thahaarah, Thayammum, all the postures in prayer & etiquettes of Mosque & Jumu’a prayer. Apart from that, it is the matter of pride that our students participate in various events on stage such as reciting Hadith, giving speeches, Adhan and Qiraath competitions are conducted every year.
The school computer lab plays a crucial role in providing students with advanced technology to enhance their learning experience. Equipped with advanced computers and software, it provides advanced technology for digital literacy, interactive learning, collaboration, research, coding and secure assignment completion.
A Hi-tech Fitness Centre is available in our campus to develop a good physique. There are well equipped international standard Gyms for students with the latest equipments, in the well laid in-door. In order to encourage the Fitness seekers, the many sophisticated equipment’s designed for the purpose are made available.
Crescent provides free Wi-Fi facility all around the campus, as it puts the school on the road to paperless administration and functioning. In addition, we provides internet and intranet facility to all staff for instructional purpose on par with schools internationally.

Audio-Visual Room is for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology, such as computers, specialized software, audience response technology, assistive listening devices, networking, and audio/visual capabilities.
The Al-Khwarizmi Lab provides an opportunity for the students to discover mathematics through doing. The activities help students to visualize, manipulate and reason. Learning of mathematical concepts through concrete materials, hands-on-experiences and real life situations help to enhance analytical and critical thinking of the learners. Mathematics laboratory is a self-explanatory lab with activities, in which students could come anytime and engage in the work, continue working on the problems/tasks.
A play park or play area of Crescent is designed to encourage children’s’ creativity. It teaches them to explore & become confident in learning to try new things. An excellent outlet for the pent up energy of young kids. This many-hued play area has brought in a sense of delectation in the kids.
We provide a nutritious and balanced diet cooked food with utmost care and love for our children. Spacious, hygienic and clean with all modern amenities for both Boarders and Day-scholars.
Transport is an optional service at Crescent School. The school has its own fleet of buses with GPS facility, to provide transportation to and from the school. School Buses will be equipped with Fire Extinguishers, First Aid Kit and CCTV.
Safeguarding the well-being of all students and staff is a primary concern at Crescent. The safety of our students is taken very seriously. To ensure the safety and security of our students, more than 180 CCTV cameras have been installed at all conspicuous and vital points on the school campus. Security is provided round the clock. To enhance overall security management in the campus, trained security guards have been employed.
The academic block of the school includes a book store where all necessary academic books, notes and stationeries are available for the students.
Apart from the book store a tuck shop is also available where the students can get snacks and toiletries.
Experimentation is an age-old, effective means of learning. Our laboratories are highly specialized and well- equipped to offer first experience and stimulate students’ understanding. Each of our labs is well stocked with apparatus, glassware, tools and chemicals to facilitate first-hand learning experience and support individual project work of every student.
Plentiful spaces are allocated for all the disciplines which include Physics lab, Chemistry lab, Biology Lab, Computer Lab and Language Lab for English.
The school has got a 16 bedded hospital inside the school campus. A Resident Medical Officer and experienced staff nurses reside in the campus to take care of the sick students. A fully equipped standby ambulance is available at all times.
There are separate residential accommodations for boys and girls under the supervision of resident tutors. The main objective of this hostel is to facilitate an all-round development for its inmates to become responsible. They should involve themselves to derive maximum benefit from the various opportunities provided. So, the boarders of Crescent will lead a noble and dignified life, bringing credit to their parents and the school.

The libraries provide a quiet and tranquil environment where children can come to satiate their quest for knowledge. The School Library is kept open from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on all working days. Fiction and non-fiction books, reference books of different kinds and popular journals in English, Tamil, Hindi and Arabic are available. Students are allowed to borrow books from the library on a periodical basis. Reference books including Dictionaries and Encyclopedias are kept in the library to be read or referred to, during the library periods only.
